Γιώργος Βιδάλης
Giorgos Vidhalis (b. 1884, Smyrna, Asia Minor – d. July 1948, Athens) was one of the earliest Greek singers that recorded their work on 78s. By 1910 he was already a famous singer in Smyrna, where his first recordings appear. In 1922 he relocated in Athens, where during 1924-1931 he recorded over 100 rebetiko and folk songs, along with some popular songs. He also played mandolin and bouzouki.
