Carpe Diem is a french rap group from Marseille, composed of five members: L'o, Red.k, Reso, Picrate and Teddy.
The group appears in marseillais hip-hop scene since 1995, at that time under their former name "Maudit Gang".
Since 2003 they changed their name to "Carpe Diem".

Their first own release was a free available web album named "Notre silence a son mot à dire" in 2005.
At this time they already worked closely together with Soprano (2) and soon later they joined his record label Street Skillz where in 2007 they dropped their second street album "En temps voulu".
In 2011 they already released their fourth album entitled "Carpe Diem" - and a half year later it is their member R.E.D.K who drops a collaborated solo album together with Soprano (2).
