Real name: Joan Oliver i Sallarès
Joan Oliver i Sallarès (Sabadell, November 29th 1899 - Barcelona, June 18th 1986), which he used as a poet under the pseudonym of Pere Quart, was a catalan poet, playwright, storyteller, translator, literary editor and journalist. He is considered one of the most important poets and playwrights in the catalan literature of the twentieth century.
