The Stüba Philharmonie was founded in 1999 in the German town Stützerbach (Thuringia) by young musicians. The orchestra name is an abbreviation of Stützerbach. It is now composed of more than 150 volunteers. In addition to numerous concerts at home and abroad, the Stüba Philharmonie plays along with the singer / songwriter Clueso since 2005. Its musical director is the conductor Martin Lentz from Weimar, Germany.
