Elsa Eklund
Elsa Kristina Eklund, born Nyborg December 25, 1893 in Långtora, Uppsala County, Death 17 May 1965 Gävle, was a Swedish Christian musician and song writer.
Eklund was a musician in the Salvation Army in Enköping. She moved to Gävle, where she was in the Salvation Army 1907-1912 and later became music director of the Baptist Church. As a choral composer and hymn writer, she wrote about 300 songs.
Elsa Eklund was 1916 married with Axel Georg Eklund (1893-1970). They are buried in the family tomb Gävle old cemetery.
