Pandero, Dutch Hindustanian band
In 1974 Edgard Panday left The Indian Soul Brothers, and he came up with the idea to set up Pandero, a bastardization of this name Panday.
First members: Michel Lachman (singer), Maikel Boys, Edje Gafoerkhan, Robby Abdoelhak (singer), Willem Ghisaidoebe (organist).
In 1975 the group was expanded with two brass players: Eric, Baldonero (trumpeter), George Scheermaker (saxophone). Over time, Pandero was further supplemented with: Naldo, Kries Malhoe, Gerda Abdoelhak and Margaretha Panday
