Siwsann George

Suzanne Elizabeth George ( 2 April 1956 - 6 May 2005 ), known as Siwsann George .
She started singing with his brother, Roland, before forming Mabsant in 1978. Initially, the group played Welsh and Irish folk songs in Cardiff pubs. In 1981 Siwsann won the single singing competition at the Ban-Celtic Festival with a song called "Aberfan". Mabsant turned into a professional group in 1984 and traveled the group around the world.
Mabsant's best albums were published on the Sain Record label. Siwsann had won a praise for his 'richly emotional' voice and for her exciting presentations of the songs. She had a depth of understanding of the unprecedented songs among other singers of his generation.
Later, Siwsann was playing with his own group - Siwsann George Folk Welsh Show.
