Danish jazz and rock bassist (born 11 April 1948). Very versatile in music styles, Rostock / Rostock Jensen has played with a large variety of Danish bands and solo artists. Started out in the 60's playing rock with bands like The Flintones, Les Rivals (2), The Baronets and The Black Devils (3), in those days known as Gert Jensen, In the 70's he was a frequently used studio musician, often in sessions led by Peder Kragerup, a.o. on Sebastian's early records. He was also in high demand as live musician, in cabarets and musicals. Occasionally he sings as well as plays guitar and banjo.
