Drumlersi

Members: Aleksander Michalski, Andrzej Ibek, Tadeusz Prokop, Leszek Muth

Polish folk-beat band (1968). It was created on the initiative of Jerzy Kosiński (manager of the band Czerwono-Czarni), composer Marek Sart and poet Ernest Bryll, who in the summer of 1967 decided to organize a new beat band, referring to the tradition of Polish folk music. The search lasted several months. From among the laureates of youth music reviews, a large group of young people was selected and invited to the hearing in Żelazno near Kłodzko (Poland). From among sixty performers, several graduates of secondary music schools were selected, who were to form the core of the future band. Drumlersi made they debut in March 1968 in TV programme "Telewizyjna Giełda Piosenki".
First line-up of the band:
Halina Frackowiak (as Sonia Sulin) - vocals
Teresa Czekańska (as Anita Bem) - vocals
Tadeusz Prokop - vocals, guitar
Zbigniew Wrzos - guitar
Andrzej Mikołajczak - leader; organ
Leszek Muth - bass guitar
Piotr Milewski (2) - drums.
Later they joined to the band:
Andrzej Ibek (organ)
Aleksander Michalski (tenor saxophone)
Marian Napieralski (trumpet)
Hubert Szymczyński (trombone).
