Country blues singer and guitarist, born Chestnut Mountain, Virginia, 10 February 1920.Tinsley first recorded two titles for the Mutual label in Mt. Airy, North Carolina, in 1951/1952, followed much later by LPs for the Outlet label in c. 1979 and Swingmaster in 1982.
