Early moniker of Paul Simon and Art Garfunkel, adopted when they signed with Big Records (3) in 1957. Simon used the pseudonym Jerry Landis; Garfunkel went by Tommy Graph. The duo released three pop/doo-wop singles before parting ways after graduating high school. Both continued recording as solo artists, until they re-joined in 1963. They briefly performed in the folk circuit as "Kane and Garr" before signing with Columbia as Simon & Garfunkel.
