She participated in the Swedish Melodifestivalen in 1987 with the melody Nya illusioner, which missed the final vote and finished in seventh place.

In 1985, her song "Stjärnljus" was submitted to Melodifestivalen, but the song was rejected. "Stjärnljus" appeared on an LP the same year which contained songs that had been rejected for Melodifestivalen 1985.

She is the half-brother of the singer and songwriter Jan-Eric Karlzon.
