RYAT is a solo project of California based composer, vocalist and multi-instrumentalist Christina Ryat. RYAT was started in 20016 when McGeehan moved to Philadelphia. Both King Britt and Taylor McFerrin inspired her to produce her own vision. In 2009-2011, RYAT collaborated heavily with Tim Conley. In 2015, she released an album ALT MODE that was linked with a contemporary Dance piece debuting in Central Park, NY. Also in 2015, she started composing for film and debuted a piece for the Echo Society of Composers of Los Angeles.
