Paulo Chagas is a Brazilian composer born in Salvador, Bahia, in 1953. He pursued his musical studies at the University of São Paulo as well in Conservatoire de Liège (Belgium) and at the Hight school of Music of Cologne (Germany). He has over the last decade composed several instrumental and electronic works, which have been performed all over the world. He has lived in several countries, has been residing the US since 2004.
