Czech composer of the baroque era (christ.February 16, 1684, Nymburk, Czechia — July 1, 1742, Graz, Austria). He wrote choral works, motets and various pieces for solo organ. His fugue “Laudeatur Jesus Christus” is cited by the Baroque Music Library as an excellent example of its kind.
