UNAC stands for United National Auxiliaries Convention.Prior to 1975, various departments of the Church of God in Christ (C.O.G.I.C.) would hold their own annual conventions. In 1975, five of these departments held their annual convention together, calling it UNAC-5. Mattie Moss Clark and her daughters directed the music portion of these annual conventions for many years and they became known for the songs introduced there along with the albums that were produced from live performances at the conventions. The combined convention was disbanded in 1992 although later reformed under a different name.
