Susan was in a school group in 1957 with Helen and Marc Bolan (of T-Rex) that spent the whole summer rehearsing under the nameSusie and the Hoola Hoops!
John Schroeder wrote 'Hello first love', and 'Lock your heart away' with Mike Hawker.
Helen co-wrote 'Answer to a prayer' with Susan when they were ten years old.
When Susan left Oriole Records in 1964 she was signed to Columbia Records, and became Susan/Sue Holliday.
Her last recordings for Columbia were jazz orientated and were issued on her album 'I Wanna Say Hello'.
There was a slight name change and she was billed on the album as Su Holliday.
