The Leopold String Trio was founded in 1991. They perform regularly at the leading concert halls world-wide, including Concertgebouw Amsterdam, Musikverein and Konzerthaus Vienna, Wigmore Hall London, and Symphony Hall Melbourne, and at major festivals such as Edinburgh, Aldeburgh, BBC Proms, Cheltenham, Vancouver and Stavanger. In 2005 Leopold String Trio received the Royal Philharmonic Society's Chamber Ensemble Award.
