Canadian singer, teen idol and radio DJ (born February 3, 1949 in Burnaby, B.C. and died June 28, 2009 in Kamloops, B.C.). Started his singing career at age 15 with his first release "Unless You Care" on Arc Records. His solo career ended in 1970 when he married Laurel Ward, thereafter performing with her as Black & Ward until they divorced.
