Alistair Campbell

Alistair Te Ariki Campbell, ONZM is a New Zealand poet, playwright, and novelist. Born in the Cook Islands in 1925, but spent much of his childhood in Dunedin. Campbell published many books of verse, as well as novels and plays. His poem, The Return, was set to electronic music by Douglas Lilburn. He died aged 84 on 16 August 2009.
