Austrian Pop-, Rock- and Bluesband from Salzburg.

From 1967 until now, The Marquis have played as a quartet, as a quintet or as a sextet at about 450 appearances. At numerous events, in countless dance halls, at concerts and private festivals in Salzburg, Upper Austria, Vorarlberg, Vienna and in Switzerland (St. Moritz), more than 70,000 people have experienced "The Marquis" live. Noteworthy for an amateur band, who also had a number of professional engagements (especially in Zell am See, Bad Gastein and Inzell) between 1967 and 1971, playing in places where the then famous professional bands Mandi and the Bambis, Les Clochards etc. were too.
