Real name: Armin Edgar Schaible

German singer, musician and songwriter, born June 5, 1936 in Ludwigsburg, Germany, died March 31, 2019 in Texas, USA.
He began to sing and play Country songs already in the early 1950s in his hometown area, later he was leading a Country band that played on American bases at officers' and NCO clubs in Germany.
In 1958 he met Martin Haerle. One year later Martin Haerle left Germany to work with Don Pierce at Starday Records. Armin Schaible followed him in December 1960. He worked with Starday Records until 1964, remained in Nashville for seven years. In 1971 he moved to Houston. Together with Ronnie Tippelt from Walburg he formed the Walburg Boys in 1992. In 2008 Armin "Eddie" Schaible co-founded the Texan Enzian Buam. He appeared with them until December 2012.
