Susan Frykberg
Electroacoustic composer, born 1954 in New Zealand. She studied with John Rimmer, Barry Vercoe, Barry Connyngham, Iannis Xenakis and Barry Truax. In her work, she often creates theatrical ‘environments’ in which stories of women’s lives are the ‘context’ for her music.
Passed away peacefully at her home in New Zealand on April 7, 2023.
