On 18:16, the fundament is an improvised trio outtake from the 2009 Pintura-sessions. Composer Stian Omenås then wrote an arrangement for five horns, that were overdubbed onto the pre-existing trio track.

All trio tracks recorded December 2010 and April 2013 at Grieghallen Studio, Bergen, Norway. Horns recorded September 2013 at Rainbow Studios, Oslo.
