Camillo Amalfi

Camillo Amalfi (1962) is an improviser, performer and poet from Palermo.
After graduating, Camillo Amalfi conducts an apprenticeship as sound engineer at Ziz Studio. In the late Nineties, he studies drums at the Open Jazz (Palermo). In the early years of 2000 plays with the "Stalker Noiser project".
In 2004 he escapes from the jazz milieu, discovering the radical improvisation and the analogic noise approach.
In 2005 he plays at the Grimm (Marseille) invited by Jean-Marc MonterĂ .
In 2010 he is a co-founder of Brusio Netlabel.
In 2014 is a special guest of "Magnetic Trio" by Gianni Gebbia.
A must of MainOFF Festival in Palermo.
Camillo collaborates with Lelio Ginetti, Flavio Beninati, Gianni Gebbia, Giovanni Verga, Miriam Palma, Jean-Marc MonterĂ , Mimmo Cafiero, ecc.
