American radio DJ and presenter in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA from 1948 to shortly before his death. He was one of the first DJs to play rhythm and blues on mainstream radio. Chedwick's on-air nicknames included "The Daddio of the Raddio", "The Platter Pushin' Papa" and "The Bossman".
