Grammy nominated multi-platinum music producer / mix engineer from New Zealand.

Aaron's career began in 2007 after completing his Diploma in Audio Engineering + Music Production in his home town of Auckland, New Zealand. Aaron began work with NZ's synth-pop group The Naked And Famous as member and co-producer, which went on to claim multiple awards at the New Zealand Music Awards and earn RIAA multi-platinum status for the chart topping single 'Young Blood'.

Following the bands success, Aaron branched out to explore his passion for atmospheric electronic music under the alias 6343682. He released a series of singles, remixes and albums from his home studio in LA’s Echo Park alongside many New Zealand based friends and collaborators, which caught the ears of LA’s KCRW radio and many online outlets. His passion for ethereal sound design continued to grow and landed him in the role of composing for multiple short films and the feature length ‘Softness Of Bodies’.

Outside of his solo work, Short works full time as a mix engineer and producer based out of Los Angeles, working with artists both local and abroad. In 2023 Aaron received a Grammy nomination for his work as Immersive Mix Engineer on Madison Beer’s ‘Silence Between Songs’ LP.
