Real name: The Sentimental Souls
The Sentimental Souls was a teenage band from the Northeast Bronx, NY.around 1970. The original members were Mark Eason, Charles Jackson (deceased), Kevin Archie , Isaac Smith, Doug Payne ( of Doug Payne & Polygon ) and Ray Chew (music director of American Idol). The group later added Sam Lightburn, Nat Gibbs, Tony Tonge, Greg Minnefield. Some members attended Music & Art high school in NYC during the recording of "Getting in the Groove".
