Based in Toulouse, south of France, WR, created by Franck Sadran, begins under the moniker Wacky Races for the Trip Do Brasil album. Joined by the musician Pierre Estève and the sound engineer Nicolas Roux, WR signed a licence deal with WEA France for his first album.
Latter joined during recording sessions by "Lidy" Arbogast on vocals and Laurent "Lilo" Limeul on guitars, the band also recruited some extra guests like Art Mengo, Diane Tell or Kate C for the definitive version.
