Born April 26, 1979 in Stockholm, Sweden. Conductor, composer, arranger, hornist, pianist. He regularly works as a conductor in Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Finland, Germany, UK. Also active in the US and Australia. Solyom is artistic director of the Nordic Youth Orchestra in Lund and Associate Guest Conductor of the BBC Scottish Symphony Orchestra. Solyom has also directed the Kungliga Svea Livgardes Musikkår. He is the conductor of the Helsingborg Symphony Orchestra.

He is the nephew of pianist Janos Solyom.
