American emo-artcore band from Indianapolis, Indiana. Bassist Paul Fox and drummer Jeremy Atkins were having trouble rounding out a band until Fox answered an ad in the local alt weekly posted by Ethan Wagner and Todd Bracik for their band Turbo Moses. The two cited influences of Archers of Loaf and Sonic Youth, which caught their attention. After a few practices, and acclimating Wagner and Bracik to their love of Drive Like Jehu and Clickitat Ikatowi, Fox and Atkins joined the band, under the condition of a name change. The name they settled on wasn't much better, but certainly looked cooler in lower case typewriter font. The four piece soon added second guitarist Taylor Rollings, who was later replaced by Austin Considine, from local high school hardcore heroes, Jaded.
