Louna is a Russian rock band with female vocals. Some journalists call the group a “side project” by members of the Russian rock group Tracktor Bowling, although the musicians themselves in their interviews refute this epithet, which they mistakenly believe, insisting that Louna is “an independent group.” The name is derived from the creative pseudonym of vocalist Lou. Since 2010, with the release of their debut album, Make It Louder! the songs of the band became widely known, leading the well-known "thematic" charts. Lyrics of the group have a pronounced acutely social context. The team was created in September 2008 by members of the Moscow alternative group Tracktor Bowling Lusine Gevorgyan and Vitaly Demidenko.

They were also joined by guitarists Ruben Ghazaryan, Sergey Ponkratiev and drummer Leonid Kinzbursky. The bet in the work of the newly-minted team was made on a powerful sound component in combination with the intellectual content of the texts. The Louna group is one of the most unusual projects to date on the Russian stage. In her songs you can hear the echoes of an alternative line, which is the main one. At the same time, grunge notes also sound (post-grunge - in the official version).
