From New Jersey, formed in 1998, they have a diverse repertoire spanning traditional klezmer, a wide variety of jazz styles, and original compositions. Mixing love songs, Jewish Hasidic, Latin, and American traditional jazz, the band moves freely in and out or in-between these genres without losing either the vintage or contemporary aspects of art music, with a sound and dimension few so-called klezmer fusion bands can come close to. They are currently a seven-piece band, comprising clarinet, trumpet, violin, saxophone, piano, bass and drums.
