After All was a group comprising of members from various bands in Tallahassee, Florida. They got together with lyricist Linda Hargrove (later a Nashville songwriter) to create a concept album to "emulate the new styles of the era; acid rock, classical rock, surrealism in lyrics and complexity of form". A one-off project, all returned to their individual careers as soon as the album was finished in 1969. The album is organ-dominated progressive rock with a psychedelic taint and a clear classical influence.
