SANMI is the moniker of the Japanoid artist Kyo Yanagi, a prolific and active musician, at Shiraoi, Hokkaido in Japan, active in music since 1998. He had played with Pops, Rock, Experimental and Swing Jazz ..several bands at Tokyo. After that he worked with algorithmic composition as a mean to sculpt IDM tracks, using MaxMSP, MaxForLive and Ableton, and has released music in a European, Amerian and Japanese of net labels. Besides, regularly collaborates with the artist V4W.Enko (aka Evganiy Vaschenko), from the Kvitnu (Ukraine) label artist rooster, with who he has an electronic music duo. and recently engaged in free improvised acoustic music with natural based spiritual approach.
