Africa Show was founded in 1968 by José Massano Júnior (vocals and drums), Alberto Teta Lando (vocals and guitar), Zeca Tyrilene (bass), Tony Galvão (organ), Joaquim Amaral (dikanza) and António Miguel Imperial (guitar) and was one of the most modern sounding groups in Angola at that time.
