Mikhaïl Faerman (born 29 April 1955 in Bălți, Moldavian SSR, Soviet Union) is a Soviet-Moldavian born Belgian pianist.

Faerman started taking piano lessons at the age of three and entered the Moscow State Conservatory at the age of 17. In 1975 he won the International Queen Elisabeth Competition for piano. He started teaching piano at the Conservatoire Royal de Mons in 1979 and since 1997 he teaches piano at the Brussels Royal Conservatory.

He participated as jury member in numerous piano competitions in Belgium and France.

He moved to Belgium in Octobre 1978 as a refusenik to defect the Soviet Union
