Robin Williams

Born in Penycaerau, Eifionydd and educated at Bangor University, Robin Williams (1923-2003) became a preacher with the Presbyterians and was a notable broadcaster and writer,He was a member of the popular trio Triawd y Coleg, who were regulars on BBC Cymru's early Noson Lawen radio programmes.
An unparalleled impressionist, he was the voice of Emrys Aled Parri, the five-year-old character who came to prominence on Rhwng Gŵyl a Gwaith on Radio Cymru. Four cassettes of the talks were released between 1985 and 1988.
