Most famous for recording the original version of Don't Cry For Me Argentina for the Andrew Lloyd Webber And Tim Rice - Evita musical (1976), she has performed on tv and with the English National Opera and in the companies of the National Theatre and the Royal Court Theatre. Covington has also had chart success with her cover version of Only Women Bleed (1977) whilst also featuring on the million seller Jeff Wayne - Jeff Wayne's Musical Version Of The War Of The Worlds (1978).
