Soup was a punk band from Berkeley CA in the late 80s.Also they were the first band to play at the Gilman St. Project in Berkeley,
Along with Crimpshrine, Operation Ivy, and Isocracy, these bands would play together so often, and shared so many friends/fans centered around 924 Gilman, that they were sometimes referred to as "Crimpsoupivyocracy".
