Originally hailing from Santa Monica, CA., The League Consists of four members: Doc Lewd, Matré, Jericho J and LifeRexall. Culminating in ’94, the group met through school and mutual friends and began exploring a common vision of expression and creation.
The League was initially formed by Doc Lewd and Matré, friends who joined together to rock cyphers and parties, sharing progressive rhymes and ideas and building the foundation of their sound. They soon complimented their vocals with the innovative music of producers Jericho J and LifeRexall and began lacing the underground with fresh songs and live shows. United, these four members create a unique crew with roots in the L.A. underground and appeal throughout the world of hip hop and beyond.
