Dutch-Antillean hip-hop MC from Groningen, the Netherlands, based in Amsterdam with roots in Willemstad, Curaçao.

A member of pioneering Dutch hip-hop group Zombi Squad as well as the Universal Zulu Nation, Shockwave was instrumental in helping to create the foundation for hip-hop in the Netherlands. Having spent several years in Brooklyn, New York, and currently based in Amsterdam, Shockwave heads his own Independent Aftershock Entertainment imprint.
