Giovanni Puliaschi

Italian composer, (b Rome, late 16th century; d Rome, 1622) singer and instrumentalist, born in Rome. He was a tenor vocalist in the papal chapel from 1612 and also sang the bass range and played the chitarrone. His virtuoso technique is reflected in his collection "Musiche varie" (1618), also including an essay on singing.
