Underground Railroad is a French noise rock/pyschedelic rock trio forrmed in the Paris suburbs in June 2002, relocated to London, England in September 2005.
Members and founders are Raphael Mura on drums and vocals, Marion Andrau on guitar and vocals, with JB Ganivet on bass guitar and backing vocals. Cello player Anna Scott played on their third album White Night Stand, and joined the band on occasional tour dates.

The band released three albums, Twisted Trees (2007), Sticks and Stones (2008) and White Night Stand (2011) on One little indian records.

Highlights of the band's carreer were tours with Dinosaur Jr around Europe in 2007, as well as perfoming alongside Deerhoof or Autolux.

2008's 'Sticks and Stones' was recorded and mixed over 6 weeks in Seattle, WA by producer John Goodmanson (Gossip, Nada Surf, Bikini Kill...). It was reviewed by NME as 'The alternative album of 2008' (8/10) and White Night Stand scored 9/10.

They have been featured in the NME's "Radar" and Q magazine's "QPM show", and been played on the Zane Lowe show on BBC Radio 1. They also featured on the BBC Introducing Stage at 2008 Reading and Leeds Festival.

The band is has been inactive since 2013 but has not officially disbanded.
