Angolan musician born in 1958 at Caála, Huambo district. Passed away November 3rd 2021 in Luanda, due to heart faliure.

Jacinto Tchipa stood out in Angola during the 1980s, when he was the winner, twice in a row (1986 and 1987), of the Top dos Mais Queridos, organized by Rádio Nacional de Angola (RNA).
The musician was born in 1958, in Caála, Huambo province, and began his artistic career in 1973, when he recorded the first vinyl record “África”. Some of his most wellknown songs are “Maié Maié”, “Kumbi Lianda”, “Sissi Ola” and “Tchivale Tchivale”.
He released three vinyl records in the 1980s, entitled “A Cartinha do Soldado”, “Sissi Ola” and “Reconstrução Nacional”, and in the 1990s he released “Os Meus Sucessos” and “África”.
