American jazz and pop singer (Detroit, MI July 13, 1926 - Oct. 1, 2004), discovered by Mark Warnow in 1947, she recorded for Coast Records, Decca, Coral, Kem, London, Dot Records, Publicity and Advance Records between 1947 and 1957.
