Marcela Machotková

Czech operatic soprano. Born in Turnov, she studying singing at the Prague Conservatory. In 1960, she debuted at Liberec Opera and the became a permanent member of the National Prague Opera in 1966. She appeared in USSR, GDR, across Europe, Britain, and Holland. She was awarded the Artist of Merit in 1975.(October 12, 1931, Turnov - December 7, 2021)
