Real name: Генадзь Іванавіч Цітовіч

Gennady Ivanovich Tsitovich (Belarusian Genadz Ivanavich Tsitovich, Russian: Геннадий Иванович Цитович) was born 1910 and passed 1986. He was a Soviet, Belarusian musicologist-folklorist, musical ethnographer and (choral) conductor.
in 1952 he created a folk choir, which was reorganized in 1959 into the Belarusian State Song and Dance Ensemble, and in 1964 into the State Folk Choir of the Belarusian SSR: (Государственный Народный Хор БССР), where he was artistic director until 1974.
The current name of the choir is "National Academic Folk Choir of the Republic of Belarus named after G.I. Tsitovich".
