Reiko Kashiwagi

Real name: 柏木玲子

Japanese keyboard player known for playing the various Electone organs produced by Yamaha. Graduated from Soai Women's University, Faculty of Music, Department of Composition.

Started playing the piano at the age of 4 and the electone at the age of 10. Won the Grand Prix at the 11th International Electone Competition Grand Prix Tournament. In addition to concert activities in Japan and overseas, she has demonstrated her versatility in producing and performing music for movies and musicals, and producing music for TV and radio. In 2005, she released the original album "My favorite Place" and co-starred with saxophonist Nobuya Sugawa and pianist Satoru Shionoya. 2008 Album "Across The Border" was produced with saxophonist Kenta Fukui. February 2013 Held self-produced concerts in Tokyo and Osaka with great success.

She value the playing style that is the origin of the electone, and attract many electone fans with the arrangement that always gives a fresh impression and the simple and transparent sound regardless of the genre. In addition, public lectures and songbook lectures on performances, analyzes, songwriting and arrangement, and "improvisation lectures" using original texts are held in various places. Currently a professor at Soai University.
