Inga Lewandowska
Polish violinist and vocalist
She studied the violin at the State School of Music in Łódź and singing at the Jazz and Popular Music Faculty of the Karol Szymanowski Academy of Music in Katowice. In 1994, she won the International Jazz Singers’ Competition in Zamość, and has since performed in numerous festivals in Poland - including Jazz Jamboree, Jazz nad Odrą, Jazz w Muzeum, Jazztopad, Chopin i Jego Europa, Sopot Molo Festiwal, Trans Vocale - and abroad - including Polish Jazz Week at Europas Jazz 2003 (Graz, Austria), Central European Jazz Festival (Rome, Italy), Jazz Festival (Tel Aviv, Israel), Konzertsommer im Englischen Garten (Berlin, Germany), Jazz in Düsseldorf (Germany), and Festival of Polish Culture (Edmonton, Canada).
